Remembrance. Comfort. Hope. Renewal. Joy.
On a day traditionally set aside to remember those who came before us, the San Antonio Mastersingers invite you to an afternoon of music that looks back with love—and forward with hope.
All Things New brings together generations of singers for a moving musical journey through remembrance, love, comfort, renewal and joy. From music that speaks to carrying those we love within us, to songs of reassurance, restoration and the promise of things made new, this program takes on special meaning on November 1, All Saints' Day, and during a season when many in our community also honor departed loved ones through Día de los Muertos traditions.
The San Antonio Mastersingers invite the community to an afternoon of music that looks back with love and forward with hope.
Under the baton of Dr. Yoojin Muhn, All Things New brings together generations of singers – including the UT San Antonio Concert Choir and the Children’s Chorus of San Antonio -- for a moving musical journey through remembrance, love, comfort, renewal and joy.

At the heart of the program is Francis Poulenc's magnificent Gloria -- featuring soprano Dr. Lydia Beasley and organist Dr. N. Seth Nelson -- moving between grandeur, exuberance and moments of breathtaking serenity.
And, in addition to performing standalone anthems, the combined choruses will unite to present Elaine Hagenberg's luminous All Things New, a musical message of hope and transformation and Shawn Kirchner's joyful O! What a Beautiful City!
